from you and will include some of your questions

Q: How and when do you prune citrus
trees?
A: It's always a good idea
to start by removing any dead and diseased
branches and any twiggy or weak growth.
With citrus that's really all you need to
prune, other than to shape and keep the size.
The best time to prune to shape is during
the summer, when fruit has already set, that
way you won't lose any fruit.
Q: What do I do about moss growing
in the lawn?
A: You can use a commonly
available, purpose designed moss killer. or
here is a simple mix which could also work.
It kills fungus, bacteria, and moss in your
lawn, on your plants and trees, and between
the cracks in your sidewalk and patios. It's
pretty basic consisting of 1 part Hydrogen
Peroxide mixed with 9 parts water.
Just mix it up, put the solution into a spray-bottle,
lightly apply it to the area that needs it.
It will rid your lawn, plants, and flowers
of fungi, moss, and bacteria. It’s also
safe to use around plants and children.
Q: How do I deal with the caterpillars
currently eating everything in my garden?
A: There are a variety of
caterpillars around in late Summer/Autumn,
from monarch butterfly caterpillars to our
New Zealand native ones. Have a look at the
article on our pests and diseases page about
caterpillars for some suggestions. Click
